'Ere we go, 'Ere we go, 'Ere we go

Well back in the UK after six weeks in the sunshine, plenty of great hikes in the French Alps and too many hours spent on the internet planning our travels mean we have four countries planned to visit through to mid February. From reading other people's blogs it would appear we are Flashpackers and not Backpackers. Apparently, you are one if you travel with the array of electronic devices Glenn is taking and book en suites in hostels, which Yvonne is anticipating.

Where are we off to first?....Sunday 1st Nov we fly to Maui, Hawaii which is somewhere we never planned to get to!  One of those chance emails sent to one of Yvonne's previous work colleagues led to a last minute wedding invitation to Satya and Kusum's celebration there.  Glenn mentioned "that could be doable" and that was that, invitation accepted and flights booked, beautiful sari purchased and got Yvonne's Mum on the case for hunting out shoes and bangles. All very exciting! Just hope one of their families help with getting my sari pleated and dressed properly as I can't see Glenn and I following youtube instructions without a few hitches.....

This week, before we leave we are catching up with both Mums and the guys, of course, so we are already wandering nomads!  Unfortunately, the backpack seems way too small for the amount of gear we have planned to take.  Rationalisation planned for tomorrow. I wonder what Glenn is going to have too leave out.....
